Im installing dual exhaust on my truck, Will there be a problem taking off the cataletic converter.I was told the computer will have to be re flashed??????Doesnt make sense to me.

My rig has no cat to be seen. Look under there and if there is one it will be between the muffler and the down pipe. I have been told that in CA there are cats and on new LLY there are cats. Hope that helps.

Since the kitty ran off a couple of days ago I haven't had a problem with my truck. No codes are popping up and it runs like it was meant too. The only problem you'll have is if you get caught and tire wear will start to increase.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

We have sold a zillion exhaust system for the LB7's and it's not a problem at all. You won't have to have anything done if you have a non LLY truck. The LLY enignes will set a engine light on occassion if you allow the exhaust to flow without any restriction, the EGR system gets confused and sets the light.
