Has anyone noticed the complicated mess that is the radiator hose hookup on the Duramax? From what I can tell, the lower hose has at least 2 tees in it and is two different sizes in the main hose (two sizes on the branches of the tees also). Can anyone tell me what all the complexity is for? I would also like to here from anyone that had to replace the lower radiator hose, how bad of a job was it, where did you get the hose and did you have to take out a second mortgage to buy it.

Quite a engineering mess huh? I would hate to buy it. Last time I say something like that was on a old Jap import, duh... this is a Jap import too.
