I used the GM winter front for one year...........it rubbed the fake chrome off the grill on my GMC in spots http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif.

Go with a LUND or some other brand stainless front.........

I have the winter and summer fronts.........

I tried the Lund lexan model first and it was junk.

Then after reading this thread:

I ordered the black powder coated Cloud Rider and it's a real quality peice. Worked well and didn't damage the grill area of the truck, as well as being really easy to install or take off.

Some here have suggested that the Lund Stainless and the Cloud Rider may be one and the same, couldn't tell you if Cloud Rider does make the Lund Stainless, but folks who've seen them both seem to think they are both well made.

I have the stainless Cloud Rider for my GMC. Last year was the first year I used it, and I would recommend it to anyone. It fits great, and gets around the rubbing issues of the GM supplied cover. Bought it from Max Power.Edited by: Roegs

Ditto on the Cloud Rider. I did not use the winter front though, as I don't think it got cold enough here to use it. I used the screen front the rest of the winter after I purchased them both from Max Power. They both are very nice products.
