Looking to get A GM extended warranty for 100,000 miles, what are you guys paying for this?
The prices seem to move all over the map depending on witch dealer you go to.

I got a 3/36 warranty for $2K. That was with a $1K discount for being a GM owner and a military discount.

GM has a "Drive Train Only" for around $800. Doesn't cover the A/C et al, but does cover the Allison and the rest of the drive train. Never deal with the sales folk. Wander into the Stealership FINANCE office before the 36k bumper to bumper has passed and ask for the brochures and prices on all three of their offerings.

John,

Give Blake Huddleston a call 1-800-259-1200. He is in the finance department at Classic Chevrolet. He can give you the low down on the new GMPP policies -- they have changed the structure of them. I believe the new policies are based on miles and months added to the factory 3/36, so you would be looking for a ?/64 to give you 100,000 mile coverage. Blake is a great guy to deal with -- he only charges a small fee (covers postage, etc.) over cost on the policies. Tell him you heard about him on The Diesel Place, he goes by TXDMAX on this sight.

I would second the idea of calling Blake. It is a GM plan. I had an unfortunate experience with Warranty Gold (they were the "best in the business" when I bought my plan) and would not do a third party extended warranty again.
