I'm sure this has been asked already but could not find a answer in any search.
Ok my 2006 LLY has 310HP and the 06 LBZ has 360HP...
My question is if I put the Edge Juice on my truck at level 1 (30HP gain) would my truck be 340 or 390 hp since the programmer is the same for both motors and that the motors from the factory are the same except programming?
I hope you can understand what I mean. ):h

I can't say for sure, but my guess is somewhere in between.

Your gonna have 340. If your truck has 310 and the tuner adds 30 I am sure you can do the math.

My point is if only the programming is different between the two motors and the aftermarket tuner is the same would you not think when the Banks, Bully dog or whatever are plugged into each truck the fuel mapping and other settings would then become the same...

My personal opinion is that it would not totally overwrite the program only the advance, fuel ,etc. So the HP would stay the same and increase according to what you've increased with the programmer. Although I'm not a mechanic or a computer wiz I'm just giving a educated guess.

Thats probably true, I think the ecm's may be different also.

Your gonna have 340. If your truck has 310 and the tuner adds 30 I am sure you can do the math.Well, the Juice adds 30 hp to the LBZ. There are no numbers for the LLY. Since the Juice moniters throttle position, load, all the injector and turbo control functions of the ECM, etc., it would make sense that the power gain would not be exactly the same for both engines.
Thats probably true, I think the ecm's may be different also. No, the ECMs are the same, just the programming inside is different.

I have an 06 lbz and a preditor the preditor is for the 06 lly and lbz. The tunes are the same for both models, I'm almost positive the programer adds to what your engine already has. The difference is you could run the 120 tune on an lly much safer than you could on an lbz. I don't know about egts but you would have room for more added power on your stock tranny. When I was shoping for an 06 I wasn't that concerned if the truck had an lly or an lbz. I knew I was going to juice it up to the limits of the stock tranny regardless of which engine it had.
