There are some good pics at chromewheel.com like Tony said this is the same way I am going I just need to save up some money and sell all the extra parts I have. These rims are really good looking and I wouldnt go any other way.

The expesnive part to run an 18 wheeler rim is the adapters and the machining process. Read the FAQ on chromewheel.com and it will give you some more details it even says for us guys that want to be slammed the right setup will cost upwards of 10,000 http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

well i am sure that the 8lug rims wouldn't need adapters seeing as how they are 8lug...you can also prolly get away w/ runnin ford(shhh) F550 rims they are 20's and 8 lug...

Ricksonwheel has 8 lug wheels and a couple of pics. Rickson gave me a price of $3800 for 19.5" with 245 tires delivered. I was looking at the 19.5" wheels for ease of installation and to avoid any lifting of the truck. The 10 lug wheels do look much tougher.

Then... my wife finds the estimate and after a domestic dispute I decided not to get the wheels at this time.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

PRO400--where are $150 rims avail? I aint scared to polish them as long as they are round. The dually rides rough enough as it is.

Just wondering....

What effect does a 24" wheel and tire setup have on the braking?

Would it be the same or worse than, say, the H2 setup?

I would just think that would be ALOT of braking!

Ok Guys...

Its called B&D Trucks&Gear...1-888-805-6523

I hear w/ 22.5 and 245 tires you need a 3in lift..

Also you get them 12ply semi tires rolling you can feel if the quater you ran over is heads or tails, lol

24 alcoa's?Yah brake upgrade might be good, but stock should be ok,just go threw pads maybe a lil quicker..
