I picked up two $10 a pair sets from Pep Boys made by Groboski. They are 12" wide and hang about 10" below the body. They are cresent cut to fit the shape but the flaps themselves are simply flat black plastic about 1/8" thick. They are plenty stiff enough.

Then I realized I had a place for my new Cummins Logo I picked up at Muncie!

Mac, I'm curious, is your mean spirited behavior due to the inability to express yourself as a child, or is it a deeper rooted problem of not accepting other's own opinions and choices? Makes me wonder how the vendors-advertisers of this site feel when they see the viewership decline on this board, yet other sites, like TDR, who are growing each month..

Something to think about between your sarcastic responses.

What?

All I am saying is that there is kidding and good spirited humor, and then there is the low balling, sarcastic, mean spirited comments that tend to keep people from posting anything on this site due to fear of getting attacked. I've seen it enough with my own postings that I rarely share any information anymore because I got tired of the mean spirited attacks against me. I watch your posts Mac, and find them to be the latter, with an imperialistic, nose in the air retort. What's with that?

PS: I know we have a spell check option on this site, but how about a grammar check as well?Edited by: hasselbach

Look Bach

I gave my opinion. If you don't like it don't read it or comment in a positive way that your opinion is you want a set of flaps just like that for your truck .

You came right in with this comment

Why are you giving him a compliment? http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil%20Smile.gif

Directed at me after a Newbie with one post with a Porno web site for a home page mind you ,made a rude comment saying I'm an asshole .

So you are the Pot calling the Kettle black ,sir.

I will do my best to have proper grammar so you can understand when my post is directed directly at YOU .

You can either see your way out of this with out reference to "personal " digs at members, including myself.

Trucks are material things bud and if you take it so personal you and the Newbie do not belong here if you cannot contain yourselves.

Understand? A simple Yes or No will do it. Edited by: Mackin

I was a way for a minute...

hasselbach and nwttruck,

You got it right. I've been putting up with this wacko for years and have just about had it with him. I wished the moderators would do something with this idiot. He's a mean spirited child still http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Seriously... no.... MAC is cool. We met personally a few times. He likes wacking me over the head to make sure I'm thinking. Like most people on these forums including me, we usually are not as tough talking and sarcastic in real life... well except hdmax.Edited by: hoot

Also if you don't remember hoot was a moderator, i've met him personally when back east as i have mac, tony, etc, etc, etc. all a very good group of guys. east coast humor is sometimes hard to understand if you're from out west but if you knew them personally you'd know what they meant. i bet hoot was laughing his tail off when he read that.. i know i was.. perhaps my family being from jersey helps, but these guys know eachother too well perhaps http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Was that porno site free or one of those paying sites? After buying the Viper, I can't afford anything over $2.95 a month right nowhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif.

Hoot,

Looks great. Now that you lifted did you do something with flaps in the front?

Hasslebach - I agree with you on the possibility that the number of postings on this site might be inhibited by hostile responses. If I remember correctly, this Cummins site on what is basically a GM forum, is actually growing in use. People participate if they find positive feedback to their contributions. In teaching they called it "self-esteem". I thought that was a COS. Maybe I was wrong?

If I just had the numbers. Find them at the track. I LIKE what you post and feel good after your responses. You might be my hero if you didn't have feet of clay.

You guys should be a GM guy posting on the TDR.They would EAT you alive.I had to fight my way to gain a tad bit of respect three years and $100 dollars later.

I'm being extremely kind.

I was always told what did you expect from a Pro Dodge site, welcome arms??

Gimmie a break grow some skin and ,never mind isn't worth the time.

Nice! Mine arn't quite that long. Longer is better.

captainmal, no the lift didn't seem to make a drastic difference in the protection they were providing up front. Yes I would like them to be a few inches longer all the way around but they aren't bad the way they are and they don't look too obnoxious. Really if you think about it, looking at the pictures of the rears, the fronts are looking the same as the lift was a leveling lift, making the front the same as the rear.
