I'm hoping someone might have heard of this before. I've got just about 9k miles on my '04 2500 lly/a 4x4 (G80 in back). Just a few weeks ago it started this violent shaking. It occurs when I'm coasting between 5 and 15 mph, only when I'm slowing down, and only when the engine/trany are up to tempature. Lots of times this will occur when I'm going thru a parking lot. I'll take my foot
off the gas and just coast down an isle looking for a spot when all of a sudden the entire truck starts shaking violently until I either tap the gas or brake.

Again this does not seem to hapen when the vehicle is cold, and I don't believe it is the engine as it just keeps idling when the shaking occurs. I'm thinking the tranny or transfer case. Other than this the truck is running awesome.

I've kept up the maintenence as recomended. Changed spin on tranny filter, oil, oil filter, rotated tires, and rear diff fluid all at 5k miles.
Anyone have any idea's?

I would guess some kind of a tranny problem. Maby the converter is sticking or locking and unlocking. Sounds like a trip the the stealer is in order.

Sounds like it is easily duplicated so a trip to the dealer is in order.
