<DIV>I installed the Big Head wastegate on my truck last week. Everything went smooth. The instructions were right on. The only thing that I did different was the actuator rod adjustment. The instructions call for you to turn it in 5 times and I did mine 6. This has my truck boosting 25.5 lbs. which is right where I want it since I'm not running a box yet. The truck has some noticeable power gain also. Well worth the money. </DIV>
<DIV>And another install tip. The instuctions call for you to have 50-60 psi source to extend the actuator arm to take off the factory wastegate and put the Big Head on. I don't have a compressor so this was a problem. SO I put my hat rack to work and used a bicycle tire pump. One of the high volume ones that Walmart sells. Latched it on to the actuator barb gave it half a pump and wallah! The acutuator rod pushed out and would stay out until you removed the pump from the barb. </DIV>
<DIV>Hopefully this little tip will help make things easier for some. I'm out!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif</DIV>

DMAX, I see you have intake and exhaust mods. I have been thinking about this Banks wastegate, but, I do not have any mods on the truck. Wil it help a stock truck? When I say stock I mean down to the factory air filter!! Not looking to hot rod this thing just more grunt when we get a TT.

I say yes because you can adjust your boost level up a few pounds which in turn will give you more power. Free flowing exhaust, and a towing tune will be best for you along with the wastegate. Well worth the money to me.
