All right I hope I am not biting off more than I can chew here I have gotten to different answer from supposed mechanic one says that the carrier bearing is pressed on to the front drive shaft and needs to be pressed of and the new one pressed on but the the other mechanic I talked to said it should slip off and slip back on. Is this a project that can be done in my garage I have most of the tools I just don't have a press? Or is it better suited to take to the mechanic and have them replace it? Again thanks for all of the help and adice that I have recieved on this forum

Rick

By the way this is being done on my 93 C3500
