I changed my oil yesterday and accidently overfilled it by about 1/2 a quart. Do I need to drain some out or do you think it will be ok? :o:

If you're sure it's only 1/2 quart, in my opinion, it will be no problem.

Been there before. I would suggest to remove .5 qt oil. Just my 2 cents.

When the motor cold, just get under the truck and pull the drain plug and drain out 1/2 of a quart, you will have piece of mind..

):h Fumoto valve sure would make it easy...

just my opinion, but I wouldn't worry about it.

1/2 quart wont's harm anything, check level cold for sure.

If you lose sleep buy a fluid extractor (cheap tool) remove oil via dipstick filler.

i would drain some out imo
