c_pohja 11-06-2006, 01:01 PM I just got my first Dmax and am getting ready to add HP. Is there any way to tell if the trans has been limped or abused in the past? I had it servcied by a dealer and they said it checked out ok. Truck at some point had an EGT gauge (but not when i got it) so it may have had some mods at one point. 01 LB7 with 63K hdroadkingc 11-06-2006, 01:10 PM If you are going to add power you are going to build the trans no matter if it has been limped in the past or not. There is no real way to tell wiyh out inspecting the Allison which would mean a tear down. | ||
