I have an 03 LB7 (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/autolink.php?id=20&script=showthread&forumid=40). The other day i was driving and smelt oil. I stopped and opened my hood to see oil EVERYWHERE. cleaned it up and no leaks anywhere. It must have overflowed out of my dipstick. I immedialty drained it and it still basically filled a 5 gallon bucket and poured out like water.
I have a a knock when i accelerate when the truck is stock. It gets worse when i have a tune in my truck. I just had my fuel regulator replaced a week ago. It just came back from chevy and they said everything is fine. Balance rates in spec. I still am getting diesel in the oil.
Any suggestions?

Injectors. Did you get your extended warranty letter. If so, take it with you when you visit the dealership again.

it just came back from the dealer and they said they checked everything and its fine. So I cant even get the the point where we would need to discuss warrenty because they wont replace them.

Find another dealer...
If you have fuel in your oil, you've got bad injectors.

I'd go to a different dealer that has a better service department. This sounds like classic injector failure.

Injectors plain and simple. Your dealer has no clue!

just like everyone else has said its the injectors. have the next dealer do a balance check and it should show them. or if you still have the oil take a sample with you

balance rates are fine....dealer wont change them if they are still in spec. so the oil is the only way i can tell the dealer that its injectors if i go to another dealer?

Balance rates may be fine, but fuel return is way off and you are pouring fuel into your crankcase diluting your oil. Fuel in oil is a definite injector problem and should be a no-brainer for any dealer with a brain.

1st go somewhere else you don't want them working on your truck. Or if that is not an option take the truck to them and park it at their front door and leave it idling for a while. When it overflows oil and diesel all over their entrance ask them if it is supposed to do that.

Could it be injector cups? Fuel line/connector leak inside the valve covers?
