Anyone have the problem of the fuse for the fuel solenoid blowing out, repeatedly? Is this more to do with the infamous PMD problem? My situation is this: I was driving to work and was a block from the house sitting at a stop sign when the truck just quit! I could not get it to restart for the life of me. When I got it home I discovered that the fuse had blown for the fuel solenoid so I relaced it with a new one, which proptly blew as well. I had the injector pump replaced last year but have never had the PMD or FSD replaced. Any ideas would be much welcomed.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Possibly a shorted wire?

Most likely a bad PMD, short in the harness could do it too, but I've seen a couple of trucks come in like that, replaced the driver and they worked fine. They can short internally, I've seen some that smoked on the test stand, and I know a guy who set one on fire on the bench too.
