Hello

My first time on this form, it looks great!

I have a 1992 Dodge truck with a Cummins Diesel. I think there is a way to read the fault codes by turnning on the keyswitch a some sequence. Anyone know how to do this.

Thanks

Welcome Loyd. I can't help you but I wanted to at least respond. Maybe someone else can help.

Darn,

Wish I had read this earlier. I think I did it by holding the reset button in and turning the ignition key on and off 5 times. That's what I think.

You also can get the engine hours by just holding the reset button in for a while with the key on and engine off.

Play around as yours might be different as it's a different year.

Yep turn the key on and off 5 times. You will see the codes where the odometer #'s are.

Thanks Guys! I don't see anything on the odometer (It is a mechincal readout), however I do see the engine lite blink 13 times each time I do this. Also, I do not know anything about a reset button. I am almost sure the problem is the speed sensor in the rear end, since this problem started when the rear end was replaced. I would like to make sure before buying one.

I don't think I've ever owned or seen a 1st gen Dodge/Cummins that the anti-lock and brake light wasn't on all the timehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif
