I have a question about the headlights. When the low beam lights are one there is a blue (looks like a band-aid) covering a hole on the top of the housing. It also looks like there is a projector beaming up light to go through it. OK, this is my question what are they there for.....the reason why I am asking, the passenger side fills the hole were the drivers side only fills half the hole.

What does it all mean.

Also the lights are aligned with each other but the drivers side(when I was driving in front of my truck) looks like it is higher.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Thanks!

I think they are used to align the headlights and if your driver side is higher, then if you turn it down the light should fill the hole..http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Here is a link for aligning your headlights.

That is what I also thought, but it did not fill the hole.

Thanks for the link, I already checked and the lights are at the same height. But my driverside is still looking higher....I guess I will try adjusting them 25' away from the wall.

Thanks again for the info.
