Hey Guys Here Is A Question For You. Yesterday While I Was Driving Around Town Picking Up Parts I Heard A Flutter In The Engine When I Let Off The Throttle. It Doesn't Do It When Reving At A Stop Or While In Park. Only When Letting Off The Throttle While Driving. I Have Heard A Lot Cummins Make This Noise. It Is A Flutter Of The Engine. I Can Hear It But I Can't See It On The Tach When It Does It. I Hear About Four Flutters Each Time. I Have A Gmc Lb7 With 161,000 On It And All Engine Componets Are Original Including The Injectors. I Am Going To Do The Oil Drop Test Tomorrow. I Am Thinking Of Either Injectors Or Fuel Pump. Any Ideas, Thanks Guys
:wtf:
Why did you post 2x then do the Crazy Up And Down Upper Case/Lower Case Thing?
Anyways. It sounds like it could be your FPR.

Tony,
I've not had the occur on my pickup but I was test-driving an LB7 the other day that had about 70k miles and it did something similar. Like you, I didn't notice any change in RPM on the tach. Keep us posted.

The Flutter Of The Engine Has Become More Costant. I Have Been Keeping An Eye On Everything, This Morning I Checked The Oil Level First Time Since Sunday Afternoon, The Oil Level Is Up Two Inches And Smell Like Diesel, Just Like I Thought That I Might Have Injector Problems, I'm Not Going To Complain To Much This Is The First Engine Related Problem In 162,000 Miles Damn Good Truck. Two Injectors At -.53 And Low Fuel Rail Pressure Codes. Acceptable Limits Are +.4 To -.4, Time For New Injectors, Glad They Are Under Warranty, Already Called The D4ealer, Taking It In Today. Took Off My Three Month Old Edge ( For Sale If Any Body Is Interested In It). I Will Let You Guys Know How Everything Turns Out. Tony
