Hello I'm new here I have a 01 with 62000miles on it and it lost all power on way for a trip I thought it might have been bad fuel cause I fueled up about 30 miles before the problem came on.I drained some fuel from the filter it looked ok, then spun on a new fuel filter and no results.I had to drive it home about half throttle 25 mph.Next morning when I checked the oil it was about 3/4 down the dipstick and I know it was full when I fueled up 30 miles before.Why would t consume so much oil? Could I have damaged a piston /rings/valves driving with loss of power?

Sound like what mine did. I thought it was bad fuel also. When my injectors cracked, they started shooting fuel into the crankcase. I the started spraying oil/fuel out of the breather vent on the bottomside/passengerside of the motor. Hopefully it was just bad fuel, but it sound awefully like my experience.
