I want to lift the front end of my cc 2500hd by cranking the torsion bars. I hear that the shocks will need a spacer, 1 or 2 inch?


Will I be sorry in doing this, the truck seems to sit low in front?

I lifted mine by cranking the torsion bars a little over 2". I have Bilstiens. No problems at all. Still has a very smooth ride. I did have to take it to a specialty shop to have it aligned. Other than that, Not a problem.

On my original 01 CC S/B gasser I lifted the front with torsion re-keys. Got about 2 1/2 inches out of it and was able to clear 295/75/16's on stock rims with no problems. Never had to do any trimming either. I stayed with the original shocks and ride was considerably stiffer than stock! I guess it all depends on what your willing to give up to get the look you want.
