Has anyone had problems with their locks not working. I took of both door pannels to install new speakers in my 02HD. Before I took them off my drivers door wouldn't turn the radio off. When I put them back on my Drivers door works fine, but the passenger door lock doesn't work anymore. I can hear it clicking, but it doesn't engage. Any idea's?

The prime mover in the door lock system is a small electric motor. It is connected through a bunch of linkage to the lock. If you can here it clicking, then it is trying to work. I would look for a jam in the linkage or perhaps something unhooked. Perhaps you hit something and got it out of alignment while you had the covers off. I have also found that after a few years the grease and oil in the locks and windows dry out. I too the covers off mine a while back and lubricated everything. It made a world of difference.
