i have no power going down the hwy pulling camper? I have new 6.5 ,turbo,k&n air filter,3" exhaust, remote pmd.Ihave change fuel filter check vac on turbo its all ok.The 6.5 runs great .ITs just when I hook the camper up.I pull in 3rd and 60 mph is the max with the pedal all the way down .the brakes were good on camper and werent hanging up.Edited by: keymo

Shift to OD if you want to go faster.

Boost control,

GM stock program goes limp just when you need it, install gauges and boost control so you can fool PCM to real boost so it does not cut back too soon, gauges keep you from over temping turbo/engine

Soder in a 10k ohm (I'm using two)fixed resistor on the "B" wire from the MAP sensor.
havn't had a tempature problem since I "bumped" the optic sensor per TDG's instructions.
I don't have to rev past 2000 rpm for highway power anymore.

QM, Did moving the optic sensor help that much?

Tempature wise, abosolutly!
I'm making more boost with the resistors and it hasn't been a problem with the tempature staying about 185.

How about power wise? I have no temp issues but more power is helpfull

JoeyD,
I went from a 10k ohm switch to 2x 10K ohm fixed resistors sodered in on the "B" wire off the map,
and bumped the optical 1/2mm to the passenger side at the same time.

I still have the potential switch in the curciut but I havn't touched it since (I keep it off).

I wouldn't touch the optical without a read out on timing, desired and actual.

Powerwise, well let's just say I don't rev past 2000 RPM while driving anymore, I don't have to.
but since I did both changes at once who knows.
It seems to me the optical advance has keep it cool and the inline resistors are keeping it boosted.
