What I am wanting to know, is it okay to just let the parking brake cable and stuff hang or what are ya'll doing about that? After 40,000 or so miles everything is ok. As for the fluid, I put 6 quarts in at first, then after I drove it a couple days, I added until it was on the full mark. Total amount was just shy of 8 quarts. The 6 quarts made it show full at first, if that is the case with you, make sure you check it after you put a hundred or so miles on it. Do not over fill it, or you may make a mess under the truck when it blows out the breather tube. akdiesel 07-08-2004, 11:51 PM dieselboostfreak, I don't have one, but it has alot of nice features that I am very interested in one. But what I wanted to let you know is if you have a spare that is like your 285's it may not fit with the Hytec in place, or it may rub when I looked at some pictures from this forum. I just wraped some rubber hose around the break cable and tie wraped it in place and it has been bouncig along for 50K now. hdmax 07-09-2004, 01:58 PM But what I wanted to let you know is if you have a spare that is like your 285's it may not fit with the Hytec in place, or it may rub when I looked at some pictures from this forum.
