Has there been any rumoured or confirmed stock power number increases for the next model year?

I am willing to bet that you will see the same numbers as the 04LLY.

In a CD ROM, with preliminary ordering info, I got from GM (I work at a Chevy/GMC Dealer) It states that the Duramax with Allison transmission will receive another torque increase. It says nothing about HP, and it states the numbers are still to be determined, and will be released in future CD ROM. I would suspect it will be more than 600 ft/lb of torque to best D*dge.

If there is another increase this year. I would think they learned from last year`s release to wait until Ford and Dodge announce their numbers before they announce this time.


Remember last November? Gm released their numbers then the next day Dodge (Cummins) announced better numbers.

I think I read in truckin magazine that it will be 310HP and 605 torque. I am not sure though.

605, im surprised its not 601...I dont think they will change their numbers but if they did then what are they gonna do to tweak that extra 5hp and 10-15tq out of it, would it still be an LLY? I cant really see much happening in 2005 since they made changes on 2004.5 but who knows.
