Did it help that much???

I heard that the stock PSD injectors only could do up to 70hp.....is this right???

b/c then anything above 70hp chip would be useless.....

I know there are higher chips than 70HP......

...I just want to know what the stock injectors can go up to in HP....

I dont wanna get a programmer that will not do anything b/c my injectors are too small..... ya know???

I'm leaning towards buying the Edge EVO programmer..... I just dont want to be disappointed when I get it....

I don't know what the limits of the stock injectors are but I do know that it is higher then 70hp. If you are going any bigger then about 50hp you are going to need a pyrometer. I would definately do a pyrometer no matter what.

You might also check with TTS. I bought the Evolution for my brother before I knew that TTS had Ford chips. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif His Duramax stuff is supreme!

I had a TTS chip in my '01 Excursion PSD and loved it. The three settings on the flip switch were - stock, 50 hp, and 100 hp. I had quite a few of my PSD customers drive my truck and had me switch out their programs for the TTS. You will not be disapointed with TTS. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Here is some recent feedback from a customer that just purchased an Edge Evolution.

I just towed my trailer (8000 lb) to Seattle with the 80 Hp setting. Tons
of power and good fuel mileage. 11.8 to 13.56 mpg. Just cant let the pyro
get over 1250. Went up all grades 60 mph.

I'm very satisfied. Thanks again,

Mike C.

I get feedback all the time like this one on the Evolution, you would not be dissapointed if you purchased one.

My understanding from a colleque that had two separate 7.3 PSDs was that the Bullydog flip-chip provided the best results. Apparrently it now comes in a configuration that has a setting that will disable the ignition to prevent theft as well.

What PSI should the boost be at when the 100Hp program is used??

I can only hit like 20-25ish PSI, truck smokes like a train thoughhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif... hehe...
