Will dropping the front bars 5-10 turns hurt ride quality when hauling a lot of weight in the back?

Are you lowering from stock setting or did you crank them and now want to uncrank them

That will probably be more than enough to hit the bump stops. The truck seems to twist the bars and settle down to the stops over time anyway.

Mine are lowered, and the ride improved. I did have to trim a little off the bump stops to keep a 3/16" air gap at static ride height. I lowered the back too, keeping close to a stock rake.
