After 10 mos. passenger side AMP-Research Powerstep motor went belly-up last week. Called Electricsteps.com...apparently there have been problems with passenger side powerstep failures due to D-max exhaust heat leading to an installation update. The fix is to remove the motor linkage assembly from the front of the truck and install it in the rear position. Idler linkage is installed in the front position. A new motor (with heat shield) and extension harness arrived in 3 days from my call:ro). Did fix today and powerstep works like before. Just a heads up for powerstep owners.
