I agree with you mrfix. The 2007 Chevy HD Trucks would look WAYYYYY better with a painted front bumper thats color matched to the truck.

Heres a few pics of a 2007 Chevy Silverado with the front bumper painted and color matched to the truck.

This one is Not an HD, but its pretty close you to the same. You get the idea with this truck of the look we are talking about with a painted front end.

All they needed to do is paint the front bumper, remove the lower air dam and put some bigger wheels/tires on it.

I agree, the chrome bumper looks terrible. Painted is a little better. I'll stick with my 06!

Honestly, I like the looks of the 1/2 ton silverado better than the 3/4 ton. The grill and bumper is just too big on the HD's.

love the instrument cluster...love the interior...love the double hinged door on the ext cab...but man the ends of the bumpers are fugly!

Don't worry -- you will be able to order body-colored bumpers on the LTZ models. I'm not sure if you will be able to get it on the LS/LT models, but you could always buy the LTZ bumper parts and put them on to an LS or LT.

I have a real problem with those huge chrome ends of the front bumper, they are rediculously ugly. I agree with Tomac, painted bumper, remove lower valance and bigger wheels/tires to fill up those massive wheel wells. They also need some nice aluminum or chromed steel wheels on the 3500.

I think the rear fenders are too big on the short bed truck. The pictures I have see of the GMC don't look near that big. Also 265/70R17 will be an up grade option.

It looks just like they took a design point from Nissan (titan) I can't believe how much better the Chevy looks with the painted bumper!!!

I think they need to put the GMC bumper on the Chevy, then that would look better.

I've alway's owened Chevy's all my life, but I think I'm leaning toward the look of the new GMC HD's this time. I like the Chevy except the front Bumper, the GMC's front Bumper just look's cleaner. Maybe you guy's are right, the Chevy would look better with a Painted Bumper.

no I forgot the camera...Chevys area had two concept trucks with 4-6 inch lift and other than the bumpers they looked awesome.

Look I know the HD's are not "out" yet. But have ya'll even gone and looked at them in person? I know af ew of you have.

Please do not judge these trucks till you can see them in person. I just saw my first 1500 Chevy the other day, and I had HATED it up till I saw it in person. Even my wife (who just got to see it while driving past thought it looked WAY better in person)

I know the GMC "has a resemblence" to the ferd LOL. At least you can get 2 diferent interiors!!! Ferd does not offer that one.

Based purely on looks... I would never buy the Chevy... the GMC I would definitely buy... 1000% better looking than the Chevy. What were they thinking with that Chevy front end design... -:tsomebody at GM Design better be getting their walking papers!!!!):h
