Got a preditor and put it on 65hp. Nice gain in power plus a little better milage. Put the 120hp program in. Awsome power but what is safe. It is a 06 lbz 2500 stock. Is the 120 safe for everyday driving and stomping on it once and a while, no towing. I think I could smell some burning smell while taking it easy. My dic shows better milage on 120hp so far. Is the 65ph allright for towing my 6000lb trailer. I love the 120 setting but I don,t want to kill my new truck. I have not tried the 85hp setting yet.

Get some gauges and an exhaust. The egts on the 120 will get high if you dont improve your exhaust. Then there is the tranny some people will say you will fry your tranny others will say your fine, I run around all day with my truck on 120 no problems as of yet. I have 5 inch boost controller and trangso jr. egr blocker and stick.

If you want your tranny to last more than 10,000 miles, I wouldnt go above 85 h.p. Some trannys limp easy and some do not. I wouldnt risk it unlesss you plan on building a new tranny.

If I were going to tow any amount of sixeable weight, I would throw it on the 40 h.p. tow tune.

I just put mine on the 120hp tune and like it, but the fuel quantity meter is off. It says it burns less than what I actually burn. The shift is a bit rough and the pedal kinda touchy. The engine is quite a bit noisier too. Other than that nice power. Im getting an mbrp front pipe on tomorrow with stock exhaust. Ill post the results!
