Alright, I'm in the process of saving every penny I can for a lift and wheels/tires. The longer I wait the bigger I think I want to go, But I have heard that they are cracking down on the lift laws here in MI.

I looked up the law and this is what I found:

The Frame Height to ground is 26" Max and Bumper Height is 30" Max for trucks with GVWR >7501 - 10k#.

Edit: Here is the link to the law for all you michiganders:

I am pretty sure a 6" kit w/ 35" tires is fine (My buddy has this setup on his GMC), but what about the 7-9" Cognito w/ 37's? How much over would this put me?

Anybody running this setup willing to measure there ride for me?

I'm sure someone will chime in with the measurements but if they don't I will get you a measurement once mine is installed.

I just measured my truck, and had similar measurements as B-rad. The midway frame height is right at 27" inches. The front valence was more difficult to measure for me because the ground slopes where I'm parked, but it was right around 31-33". I'm running 38.5s (true 38s) with 12" of suspension lift. It sounds like you'd be fine with the 7-9 and 37s if you so choose. Plus, it would look great. Good luck!
