I have just purchased a new juice box. regular juice 0-90 hp. my question is. can I safely use level 4 90hp 250 tq. I know the stock allison on my lb7 is rated at 520lb. tq. on edges chart it shows max tq below 700 near 680lbtq. at the rear wheels. but 520tq. at the flywheel stock + 250=770lgtq. I spoke to edge and they stated there would be no problem with limp mode using level 4 of the standard juice. are they correct. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have never limped with 90 hp juice in over 20k miles. I have a reg cab 2500hd so I am a bit lighter but I have done some playing when I had 1000#'s in the bed and didnt limp it. I also have an attitude and have never displayed any slip with it in the 90 hp setting. I would say the 90 is safe from my limited experience. the 125 is a bit different though.

I do not remember ever hearing of anyone having transmission problems while staying at 110 added horse power or less.
As for your math on the torque. Yes the flywheel tq is 520, but where your math is skewed is that the 250 ft lb tq you get from the Juice is rear wheel. It most likely will be giving you about 10% more then that at the flywheel. I'd say more in line with 275, So now you will be closer to 795 flywheel torque.

let me guess, Stock rear wheel TQ is 440 and motor is 520.
Juice level 4 is 700 ft. lbs @ the wheel and about 820 at the motor.
