Well, I just picked up my '85 Scottsdale from my brother-in-law who got the truck from my in-laws who have owned the truck since it was new in '85. I've been in love with this truck since the first time I saw it and now it's mine. It has the C-code engine with the EGR blocked off, but the valve is still there. 184k and some change on the clock and still runs strong. It has an oddball transmission that nobody around where I live in Tennessee (which have a ton of die hard chevy fans, I've always had Ford trucks before) has never seen. It is a 4-speed overdrive, but has a Hurst shifter from the factory. The RPO is MM7, does anyone happen to have any info on this? Someone said it sounds like a Muncie, but I thought they were out of business. Other than that, the only other thing I can see that is odd it has the bed rails from the factory as well. It's a work in progress, but doesn't have any HOLES rusted through like your common chevy but it will be a fun, very good milage truck to drive.
