I know it's been here before but. I am looking at both of these and would like to know what one would be best with my ZF/6. I don't tow much just wanting a little fun. I have MBRP cool duels to install. I was told that the banks raises fuel presure. Is that true? I dont think that I want to put more presure on the injectors or do I? BTW this is My first diesal. thanks for your input

The Banks is one of the few that still does raise psi.

Even the big programs dont raise the rail pressure?
Does the big VA big quad or the big TTS tune?
Juice w/attitude is a very cool set up with lotsa features. I have never ran the banks but i have the juice and love it. I probably wouldnt go over the 90hp level unless you wount mind redoing your trany eventualy.
Banks marketing does kinda crack me up though, "race" box and it works on a stock trany LOL or comparing a "race" box with a regular juice or other 100hp programs.....what everhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif
Increased pressure cant be good but how bad is it???http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif Kinda subjective I think. There are guys that ran a box that got all its power from raising the pressure and never had a problem.

The 6-gun raises rail pressure on level 6 only. Their testing shows that it still stays within safe parameters. From a few posts here it looks like the 6-gun "race" (which you could just call the 6-gun, since all their boxes after June 30th have the new reflash) sits between the Juice w/attitude and the Hot Juice. I myself don't really feel like going into the tranny, so if the new version of the 6-gun doesn't limp the tranny, that's where I want to be. I don't think you'll go wrong with either. I should be getting my 6-gun back soon. It'll be interesting comparing to the older version.

I don't think it's bad when kept within safe limits, BUT the early trucks had enough fuel in oil problems and rail psi sensor leaks that they fell out of favor. The leaks got blamed on the boxes, so they pretty much quit it.
We seem to be able to get plenty of power from the pulse extension so rather than risk getting blamed for a leak...

Your ZF-6 will puke its dual mass flywheel if you're not careful.
