I have a 2004 LLY with 20,000 miles on the clock. Predator set at the 45 HP towing level. All of sudden I am getting black sooty exhaust residue left on the garage floor when I start the truck. Have never seen this before and the truck seems to run and pull just fine, although I think my mileage may have gone down. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Any suggestions much appreciated. :confused:

I dont know about residue on the floor...But I've had someone start my truck up before and I watched the exhaust. You'll see a quick light puff of black smoke upon crank up. I guess its normal

My '05 in the winter time will blacken the wall in the garage (condensation and soot). I have to place a large piece of cardboard against my wall when it gets cooler... that will be soon. :(

Blame it on the cooler weather.

cooler weather and condensation in the exhaust after sitting overnight does it for me too.
