Do a search on gauges and installs and you will find all kinds of stuff. Also look in the DIY up top and you will find some helpful info.. Good luck

DIY stands for Do It Yourself...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif There's a section close to the top of the individual forum listings. You may want to just peruse through those since some are not titled like you might think they would be.

As for the power for guage lights tap, check those articles and if you can't find something, there are several members here who are really good with sparks. Someone might pick up on your question here, but if not and there's no answer on DIY, re-post with your question in the title under... maybe accessories?

Look under Do It Yourself section.

Look on page 2 under Pre-Turbo Thermocouple install

And the next one down from that Boost install.

Read up on the whole DIY section, theres a lot of usefull stuff there.

I like that section. The one thing I did not see, is if its better to install the boost sensor before or after the intercooler. Well??

Installing it after the intercooler will give you a more accurate reading.

After the IC.

The IC itself has some restriction. The pressure reading before the IC will be a little higher than after the IC. Since the # you really care about is the pressure in the manifold, you'll want to tap as close to the manifold as possible.

One more question, where do I tap in to get lights in the gauge workin?

I just tapped mine into a switched 12v source. I would have hooked it up to the dimmer lead from the radio - but, alas, there is no dimmer lead for the radio. So I wound up just tapping into a switched 12v wire in my radio harness.

I suppose in hindsight I could've tapped right at the dimmer switch. But I've already got an aftermarket radio in the truck, so it was easier to tap into those wires.
