Don't know, but Quadzilla makes a speed delimiter for them.

Stock speed limiter is usually between 93 and 97 mph on the ford super duty trucks.

94mph

It was definately 94mph in my buddy's 04 6.0. He had it there alot... until the 2 of the head bolts on the driver's side head broke in half. That was at 23,xxx miles, he traded it in shortly afterwards.

I figured that it had to be under 100mph. I'm trying to determine if my friends superduty is "chipped". He claims it isnt but he's had it over 100mph. The thing goes too strong to be factory. However it doen't smoke at all. :wtf1: Is there any surefire way to tell?

the stock is 94, however we have gotten my buddies up to 104 going down a hill. im guessing the weight can override the limiter. now he has a bully programer on it and there is no longer a limiter.

I was curious if there's any way without going 2x the speed limit.

When driving, and at the limit, turn the key forward like trying to start again, and it will over-ride the limiter. Usually around 95-96 mph. Problem is, it has to be done every time. But it works. Then you can roll at 100-110 no problem.
