Have a question about my LLY's fan clutch. I posted earlier about it kicking on in the mornings, about 2 or 3 days a week. Regardless of outside temp or climate control settings, stays on for about 1/2-3/4 mile goes off.
Towing the trailer over Memorial Weekend, the fan clutch hardly kicks on, except once on a long hard full throttle pull.
This weekend towing, nearly identical weather conditions, just about any hill and moderate throttle application made it kick in. Twice applying the brakes to slow down I heard it kick on(I presume reduced air flow)
Temp gauge reads one small line under 210* when towing.
Could one of you techs post the test and check procedure for the fan clutch and if what Im experiencing would be "normal". If considered "normal" I guess I need to look at ways to cool her off some more....
