I agree, I feel the Baldwin Filter is the best and this is the price I get them at.... B1441 Baldwin filter I have 26 in stock your cost is $5.97 each, David Smith at Apache Oil Company. I also use the Balwin filters in my other truck and car, both are Fords.

Haven't tried Baldwin's fuel filters yet on the Duramax since I have a couple on hand still.

How true & how sad.

Guys, I was the guy way back that posted all filters were they made by Racor. I am also the guy that posted watch out for the new "tan" Balwin filters. They are not made by Racor anymore. They are made in China & I am not sure if the media is the same in them. Just a fyi out there. If someone buys one & cuts it open after use please let us know how they look. I think Balwin make a great product also.

Can't use a bottle of JD to filter oil........can you?? I talked to the folks at Baldwin and part of the move was to get a filter housing that wouldn't rust and get away from the paint. They could have accomplished that here too....Says they have have NOT comprised the quality. I'm a union steel worker and really don't like to see anyone go out of the US for any reason. We are the best labor force right here in the good Ol' USA. Shame you can't live here on $5.00 an hour!!!!!!!

My scout troop is a Valley Forge flag dealer.Thank God the American flag is still made here,in PA.I did hear though that they outsource some of their gimmicky flags overseas, probably China.
