My DIC works fine with one exception. I can't reset anything. The arrow key doesn't seem to be working. Now I can't tell if my high idle is on since the temp is in the 30s. We had an astrostart remote starter installed. Might this have anything to do with it. I don't even see how you can get the reset button on the steering wheel out to check it. I got my wife the remote starter so she can warm up the truck before she puts the kids in. As you all know, it doesn't warm up too much without the high Idle. Help me before it gets much colder. Thanks :help:

Are you holding the button down long enough? It takes a few seconds to reset.

If your DIC won't reset in four hours seek medical attention immeadiately.

Thank you "Dr"fixit. ):h Or is that experience talking.

Back on topic, looks like a trip to the dealer. I don't think the Astro Start install affected the button.

Take it back to the guys that installed your Astrostart, mine did the same thing. They hooked on to the wrong wire under the dash.

Yep,
I'm betting they hooked up something wrong with the Astrostart.

I'm sure the colder it gets the less issue you will notice ):h

Problem finally solved hooked to the wrong wire. I think they used directions from a 2003. There are orange and black wires that were swiched between 2003 and 2004. I don't know which one is which though. I'm just glad it's fixed.
