Anyone done a stage 3 install themselves? Are the directions good enough for a person who has NEVER done tranny work? I want a tranny upgrade but I am trying to avoid the big labor bill. I have pretty good mechanical knowledge but I don't want to screw anything up.

I plan on doing the install myself .........
You might want to contact MIKE L. here via PM and ask him for the Transgo/Allison Book.

Suncoast stage 3 has instructions to properly stack clutches. This kit is for the experienced trans tech. You will need more help than what Suncoast gives you. Transgo Book, as Tony mentioned is a must. Back half of the Allison gets tricky.
