For those with warranty IP issues in upstate NY, I'd like to relate my experiences.

I just had my Injection pump fail completly in my truck. Since it was still under warranty, I transported it to the dealer I bought it from (PM me for a name) where, they proceded to give me the run around, even though I'd been having stalling problems since I bought it a year and a half ago. The lift pump tested good and the fuel filter was clean, and it was throwing an IP code, but they denied the fact that GM had an IP warrenty, saying I'd have to foot the bill. When I showed up with service bulletin in hand, they said they'd call GM. In further conversations, they went on to tell me that since it was a canadian vehicle originally, it was not covered, I called BS, but they refused to act, and went so far as to tell me to pony up, or get my truck out of their shop:mad::mad:. I was overly pissed. I then contacted another local Dealer by the name of Otsego Automotive, They told me it was definatly an IP issue, and to bring it to them, and they'd 'take care of it'. in 4 days they handeled the warranty issues, ordered, and installed the parts, and all they charged was $90 for the 30mile tow to their shop. I could not be happier with the service I recieved from those folks, and highly recomend them to anybody seeking IP replacement. No hassle fast service; I'll be buying my next car from them.
