You made a fine choice by going with the LB7. Newer is not always the best. I'm surprised that you actually found a new one left on the lot. You can do a lot more with the LB7 in terms of mods, if that is something you wish to do. You'll find that as the engine breaks in and loosens up a bit that you can get even better mileage, particularly at slower speeds than you posted. Check out the recommended maint. schedule on this page...it's excellent!
