Well thats the problem why it died on me. Changed the fuse and had it running for about 15 minutes then it starts missing and puffin smoke(smells like fuel bad), rev it up and it clears up but after I killed any skeeters still around. Shut it off for maybe 15 and restarted and was fine for about 4minutes then started doing it again. Threw a code but I don't have a scanner and am scared to drive it to the parts store so they can check.

Can a pmd blow the fuse and cause the sputter/smoke?

I maybe wrong but I don't think a malfunction on the PMD will blow a fuse. When my PMD POS went on me it just killed the engine or stalled it depending on my high way speed at the time.

But it didn't pop any fuses.
