There is 1 or 2 with them here. I know it can be done. Quite expensive though. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

Don't have one yet but I have been seriously thinking about it. There are several pieces needed to finish the conversion in my case (LLY 04). You need the headunit, new Bose amp, gps ant, and NAV DVD. I have been on several other BBS's where they have successfully put them in from Escalades, H2s or Denalis. The hardest part is knowing what actual units you need for it to work. The place most people go wrong is that they think their stock Bose amp will work, it wont. Most of the people I have conversed with that have done the converison have paid anywhere from $1500-$2000 to do the full conversion. It does work just like factory and work with the rear stereo controls, DVD and steering controls that my truck has.... I have been thinking about it but... thats ALOT of money just for a little NAV. Heck, with my Duramax I can drive around lost ALOT for that kind of money... Good luck if you are thiking of doing it. Search the internet for GM NAV and you will find many articles on people doing it and they will list the part numbers you need. Some can be ordered through GMPartsdirect.com some cant..

Good luck either way!

It's really too bad that GM doesn't offer it as a factory option.

Yeah, but I bet it would still be a $2K option from GM.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

I have a Alpine NVE-N852A Navigation system plugged into an alpine IVA-D900. Got the monitor custom mounted in that lowest cubby hole and hooked it up to the aux input on the factory player. Its a pretty expensive setup, looks nice though, but with any navigation system youll have to consider the modulators and adapters youll need to buy to run it into your bose system.
