Since this is my first, and hopefully my last all grown up truck, (well maybe almost grown up) I want to make it work, run, and ride the way that allows me to get max enjoyment, work, and durability/longevity out of it that I reasonably can without spending too much on non functional stuff. Here is what I have, LS trim LLY, EXT CAB, Shot Box, 2WD, limited slip rear end, Trailer PKG, XM radio etc. I haul cattle, but not far enough or often enough to justify any mods other than shocks to actually make it tow better. I won’t be hauling heavy loads over mountains or such. Other than that, I don’t use it for anything that any ½ ton 2wd couldn’t do well working around a ranch, pulling a bass boat etc. I use the truck for everywhere I ever go. I like the ride I get with a few hundred pounds in the back, but I hate hauling around extra weight if I have no need for it. I do have spray in liner, 30 pound ¼ rubber bed mat with a 65 pound rubber mat on top of that, which all 3 add MAYBE enough weight to make a TINY difference in the ride.

Shocks…???? I drive a lot of rough azz roads and a lot of dry, flat rocky offroad trails. What gives good damping on the little bumps with very little weight in back, but can take some punishment also??

Best front bumper replacement that has NO grill/brush guard. ??? bang for the buck????
I actually need a new front bumper because I banged it on a pipe fence gate and I sometimes need to push on things.

Exhaust and / or air intake mods?? All I’m interested in there is gaining efficiency and lower EGT, more torque would be gravy, don’t really need it though.

Fuel Filter supplement?? Best bang for the buck???? I have 4 year 100,000 mile warranty, 100,000 will come first.

Pre-Lube or equivalent, best bang for the buck?????

#1I would say some rancho 9000 shocks because the let you pick between 5 different levels you can adjust from in the cab of your truck from soft to firm #2 I like buckstop bumpers you can remove the brushgaurd and it has a hitch on it so in your case you could make a ram bar out of 2inch reciever stock and some of that rubber mat you have and you could push on stuff as much as you want with out a scratch#3 and the exhaust I dont have one yet but one system that you should look at is a jardine 4inch turbo back it comes set up so you can run a kitty or not it even comes with a stainless tip last time looked it was under $500 to lower your egts you should run turbo back WWW.jardineproducts.com Edited by: socal LLy

Shocks…???? Rancho 9000s. Hands down...

Best front bumper replacement that has NO grill/brush guard. ??? bang for the buck???? Ranch Hand has some nice front bumpers that you might like and they will last forever.

Exhaust and / or air intake mods?? Exhaust, Banks and AFE intake. Stage II if you really want more air flow and longevity.

Fuel Filter supplement?? Best bang for the buck???? I have 4 year 100,000 mile warranty, 100,000 will come first. You will get all different names from members, you need to do your research and see what suits you best and the conditions where you are.

Pre-Lube or equivalent, best bang for the buck????? Same on this question as above.....
