I have a 2005 Duramax and have and Edge with the attitude a 4" Turbo Back MBRP exhaust, EGR block off plate, Volant Cold Air Intake, and recently just bought the PPE Boost Controller. I just installed it the other day and when I turned on the truck it set a code but idled just fine however when I pressed the accelerator pedal it would just continue to idle. So I unplugged the unit and reconnected the stock stuff and the truck runs just like normal and the code cleared after a couple of starts. I talked to PPE and they recommend that I flip the connector on the MAP sensor and try it that way, they claim that this has solved some peoples issue. Has anyone come across this problem or something similar? I tried to tell PPE that there is no way that I hooked that in upside down, it would take and idiot not to connect that harness in just the same way as the stock harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I tried to tell PPE that there is no way that I hooked that in upside down,

that don't mean they didn't assemble it upside down. The connectors being used in the controller, are compromise connectors, something that is on the delphi shelf that isn't well suited to the application

Don't think that it takes an idiot to hook up these harnesses backwards. I have hooked these up (along with boost sticks) about 20 times and last month I did hook them up backwards. It does and can happen!
