I am running a scan gauge II to monitor fuel and check codes, but when i was reading the manual it said it could send codes to the computer. What does that mean, has anyone tried or know what function this would serve? I would be nice to eliminate the P401 code from iluminating the CEL. Thanks for the help.

I have a scangauge I and it will reset codes. I am thinking that is what the manual is talking about.
