I was playing with the new Suncoast today and did a few 1/4 and 0-60 performance tests. Afterwards the records showed a 22% backdown....normal? Also got a 5.7 0-60 and 14.3 @ 100MPH. How accurate is the monitor? One other question is how bad is it to do a few runs back to back?

what did you have your EGT backdown set at?

My Attitude is set for 1350 max EGT and the records section shows a max EGT of 1316 with a 20% backdown. That's level 4, truck empty just before the 4 to 5 trans shift.


It may cause me to look more closely at removing the CAT which I've resisted due to diesel emission testing where I live, so right now it has a Banks CAT back system.

Had the stage 3 for a bit over a week. EGT limit is set to max and records showed max EGT at 14...something, I will have to look again. I did notice that it seemed to back off some in 5th...that may be the EGT's? Old Predator has my speed limit set at 125...and no stack...just H/Juice level 5. Some guys removing the probe hookup to eliminate the backdown? And even if the max record is showing less than max and no alarm goes off I will get backdown? And finally, should I not do back to back runs...seems I heard it is not good for ANY trans. Oh.....and is the monitor close on true numbers?

You can turn backdown off, hit the enter button twice really fast. My highest EGT is 1745.

Will see how high mine goes tonight...thanks for the tip. Not worried, many here have reported some toasty numbers and drive to tell about it.
