Im looking at getting an 01-02 chevrolet d-max in the upcoming future. I have heard that there were some injector issues in this time period, was every truck problamatic or were some ok. If i get one its going to be around for a long time and a lot of miles so I need it to be dependable. If the injectors have been replaced is the purchase a lot safer.

injectors covered for 7 years 200,000 miles. also the 03's are now covered for that long....get you one!!!!!!!!!!!!

'01, 120k, no problems yet.

That is good to hear bigblack, I am looking particularly at the 01-02 because of price and I like the body style. were the injectors the only real issue that the engine had? When looking at a truck to buy how many miles are too many, i ahve been looking at some with between 125 and 145 thousand miles.

I think the '01 and '02 might have been a little less refined than the later years. Doesn't bother me and I personally hate the front end on '03 and later, and '07 is even worse.
