Hi All,

I have found a few posts where people are talking about removing the plastic moldings on the side of the doors. I have a 2003 GMC CC and am very interested in removing the moldings. Does anyone know if they are fastened only with double sided tape or if there are fasteners into the door? I hate to pull it all off only to find holes in the doors. Also, does anyone recommend an adhesive remover that will not harm the paint? Thanks.

Heat gun and some dental floss will work great. Just heat up the door trim a little and slid the dental floss behind it and it will peel right off. Then just wash and use some GOO GONE to get the remainder of the residue off and then wax and your done. Be careful not to heat it up to much. A hair dryer will work too... Good luck..

You will open yourself up to more door dings now, just FYI...
