it was just one of those, QUESTIONS, you know, when you're sitting around bored with your friends for long enough... what would go through a turbocharger?

the general line of thought was most of the... pieces... would get chopped up and go through, and anything that didnt would just burn off eventually. now, i see two problems

1. intercooler?
2. valves?

all would get stuck in the intercooler which is one advantage of having one. if you blow your turbo the intercooler catches all the parts of it. anything small enough to make it through the intercooler would probably just disentegrate from the heat of the motor in the case of the frog or bird.

you need a finer air filter sounds like.

OK, but what would happen if a jet was trying to take off and the runway was giant conveyor belt. ;)

What is your addy, and do you sell or just use?

I get what you are asking, being an old MC-130 Maintainer, I have seen ALOT of birds go through the compressor section with no effect, but they do not have a set of valves and pistons waiting on it in the Turboprop engine design, but most will just pass through and leave a stench when you do a intake inspection.

Good thing for intercollers for when you and your friends get together and do try it to see what happens......

it would probably kill either (frog or bird) and the motor.
